I don’t think anyone’s dying this Christmas. Peter Capaldi has signed up for season 9 and Clara dying was to set up the Impossible Girl arc. I think this episode will be angsty in other ways but I don’t think Clara and Twelve are in serious danger. (At least I hope not)

I think you’re right, I really hope so. I’m not worried about Peter actually, but there is this ongoing rumour about Jenna leaving the show and not having signed for next season yet that really scares me, now Moffat has even started talking about new companions. Hopefully they are just teasing us as usual, and everyone will be all right. I just want a happy ending with Twelve and Clara back together in the TARDIS, I need another season with Jenna because her dynamic with Peter has been so brilliant and interesting this season.

I honestly feel that if we were getting a new companion… There’d be more rumors or speculation about who’s replacing Jenna, you know? We’ve not heard anything about a possible replacement and no official website has really said anything about this episode being the last one for Jenna and you’d think at least one website might know a little bit more about future plans with one month to go until potentially Jenna’s last episode. 

Idk. I could be wrong but I reckon Jenna’s staying around for a few more episodes at least.

yeah, that’s the reason why the rumours don’t quite convince me either. Also, if she really was leaving, it’d be probably more clever for them to just announce it as they did for the Ponds. But I’ll feel better when we have some official confirmation of Jenna’s return for next season 🙂
